Matthew 5 (متى ٥)

الطلاق : 

وقيل أيضا من طلق امرأته ، فليعطها كتاب الطلاق . أما أنا فأقول لكم : من طلق امرأته إلا في حالة الزنى يجعلها تزني ، ومن تزوج مطلقة زنى . 

حلف اليمين :

 " وسمعتم أنه قيل لآبائكم لا تحلف ، بل أوفي للرب نذورك.  أما أنا أقول لكم : لا تحلفوا مطلقا، لا بالسماء لأنها عرش الله، ولا بالأرض لأنها موطىء قدميه، ولا بأورشليم لأنها مدينة الملك العظيم . ولا تحلف برأسك، لأنك لا تقدر أن تجعل شعرة واحدة منه بيضاء أو سوداء. فليكن كلامكم: «نعم» أو «لا»، وما زاد على ذلك فهو من الشرير .

الانتقام :

سمعتم أنه قيل : عين بعين وسن بسن . أما أنا فأقول لكم : لا تقاوموا من يسيئ إليكم من لطمك على خدك الأيمن فحول له الآخر . ومن أراد أن يخاصمك ليأخذ ثوبك، فاترك له رداءك أيضا. 

ومن سخرك أن تمشي معه ميلا واحدا، فامش معه ميلين. 

من طلب منك شيئا فأعطه، ومن أراد أن يستعير منك شيئا فلا ترده خائبا.

محبة الأعداء:

«سمعتم أنه قيل: أحب قريبك وأبغض عدوك. أما أنا فأقول لكم: أحبوا أعداءكم، وصلوا لأجل الذين يضطهدونكم، فتكونوا أبناء أبيكم الذي في السماوات. فهو يطلع شمسه على الأشرار والصالحين، ويمطر على الأبرار والظالمين. فإن كنتم تحبون الذين يحبونكم، فأي أجر لكم؟ أما يعمل جباة الضرائب هذا؟ وإن كنتم لا تسلمون إلا على إخوتكم، فماذا عملتم أكثر من غيركم؟ أما يعمل الوثنيون هذا؟ فكونوا أنتم كاملين، كما أن أباكم السماوي كامل.

Divorce

31  “It was also said,  ‘Whoever divorces his wife, let him give her a certificate of divorce.’ 32But I say to you that everyone who divorces his wife, except on the ground of sexual immorality, makes her commit adultery, and whoever marries a divorced woman commits adultery.

Oaths

33 “Again  you have heard that it was said to those of old,  ‘You shall not swear falsely, but  shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn.’ 34But I say to you, Do not take an oath at all, either by heaven, for it is the throne of God, 35or by the earth, for it is his footstool, or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the great King. 36And do not take an oath by your head, for you cannot make one hair white or black. 37Let what you say be simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything more than this comes from evil.

Retaliation

38  “You have heard that it was said,  ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ 39But I say to you, Do not resist the one who is evil. But if anyone slaps you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. 40And if anyone would sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. 41And if anyone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. 42Give to the one who begs from you, and do not refuse the one who would borrow from you.

Love Your Enemies

43  “You have heard that it was said,  ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ 44But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, 45so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust. 46For if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same? 48You therefore must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.
